Parking Reminder/Use of the Disabled Bay
Tue 19 Sep 2023Dear Parent and Carer,
Parking Reminder/Use of the Disabled Bay
We would like to remind parents/carers to not use the disabled parking bay on School Lane unless the person collecting the children is actually the blue badge holder, or the child they are collecting has a disability.
This disabled parking space is strictly for blue badge holders. All other parents and visitors to the school have use of the car park on the lower site.
If you do need access to the disabled parking bay, please come and speak to us, as we already have a number of users, therefore we may need to re-introduce timetabled parking slots.
Additionally, please can we ask that you do not drive up or down School Lane at the start and end of day unless absolutely necessary, as many of our students are walking in it at this time and we want to minimise the chances of anyone being involved in an accident - also vehicles should not be left unattended in the middle of School Lane.
If you are dropping off KS2 students, you can use the turning area at the top car park.
If there are no safe parking places available in the car park, we do encourage parents/visitors to park further away in the village and walk to school.
Please pass this message on to anyone who transports your children to or from school.
Thank-you for your cooperation with this matter.
Yours sincerely
Mr Mark Wadsworth

Top Table!
Fri 30 Sep 2022Children in Key Stage 2 this week have been working hard with their manners and behaviour at lunch time with the reward being an invitation to the 'Top Table'. Here the children get to eat with either myself, a member of staff or a visitor. We have a table cloth, place mats, 'guest' cards and they have their food before everyone else just to make the occasion extra special. Other children have been trying really hard with the hope that they might receive an invitation. Children who have sandwiches or hot school meals can receive an invite to the table.
The photos below are of the first few days.
I would welcome your support in encouraging your children to try really hard at lunch time with their manners and positive behaviour.
Thank you. Mr Manning
