Dean Heritage Whole School Trip
Tue 28 Jan 2025Today the children enjoyed a whole school trip to the Dean Heritage Centre. KS1 explored Victorian Toys and made their own spinning tops. Larches class visited the Iron Age settlement, ground flour and became Celtic warriors. Oaks Class explored Anglo Saxon lifestyles and learnt about Anglo Saxon Armies and their battle formations. Firs explored the woodlands and tool part in the Gruffalo Trail.

Bristol Beacon - Explore the Orchestra Trip
Fri 17 Jan 2025Today the children got to experience and be part of a live Orchestral Performance at the Bristol Beacon. The children had learnt the songs and some body percussion so they could get fully involved with the performance. Click HERE to view video clips from the day.

Christingle service at the church

Christmas Dinner and Raffle Draw
Wed 18 Dec 2024Thank goodness the electricity came back on this morning as we were able to have a fabulous Christmas Dinner at lunchtime as well as do the raffle draw.

Bookmark winners with The Old Rectory Longhope
Wed 18 Dec 2024The residents of The Old Rectory Longhope sent prizes to two of our children who got Highly Recommended in the book mark Competition. The Children in Oaks also passed on cards they had made for the residents.

Winter Wonderland Performance
Tue 17 Dec 2024This morning the children were treated to a wonderful performance of Winter Wonderland. Thank you to the 'Friends of Ruardean School' for enabling the children to have this fabulous opportunity. We all enjoyed singing along and even joining in for a bit of a dance!

Festival of Light
Fri 13 Dec 2024Today the children split into their house colour groups and took part in lots of learning around the how 'light' is significant in different religions. They made Diva pots, took part in a Diwali Dance workshop, created a giant Christingle mural ready for our Christingle service next week and learnt how to play spin the dreidel.

Christmas Jumper Day - Save the Children

Ukulele Concert 2024
