WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
All children are encouraged to wear school uniform.
grey skirt/pinafore dress
red gingham dress
red or white polo shirt
Children should wear sensible school shoes. Trainers are not suitable for everyday wear as advised by the medical profession. Summer sandals should be sturdy with straps around the back of the foot. Please wear socks with sandals to protect toes and toenails, unless the sandals are enclosed at the front.
P.E. KIT - It is helpful if children have a separate drawstring bag in which to keep their PE kit.
plain black shorts
plain red T-shirt
READING/BOOK BAGS – it is advised that children will need a book bag.
The Friends of Ruardean School oversee the management of the online uniform ordering service in association with My Clothing. Uniform ordering can be accessed via the link below or via the Friends page on our school website Home>>Parents>>Friends of Ruardean School

GUIDANCE FOR PARENTS/CARERS ON TAKING VIDEOS/PHOTOS AT SCHOOL EVENTS
We do allow parents/carers to take video and photographs at school events.
However, we do ask parents/carers to respect privacy and so photography at events is on the understanding that photographs or videos that contain images of children other than their own will be for personal use only and will not be posted on the internet.
Parents have the right to refuse permission for the school to publish their child’s photo or video image on the school website or in local media and should notify the school, in writing, if they do not want their child’s photo published.
The school will work from the premise that parents/carers are happy for their child’s picture to be published.Parents are asked to inform the school if they do not wish their child’s image to be used or shared as outlined above.
PROCEDURES FOR EMERGENCY CLOSURES
In the event that we have to close the school this website will be updated. We will also send out a message via ParentPay to all families.
The status of the school will be shown on the Gloucestershire County Council website: https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/closures/
