Spring 1
Willows (including Mrs. Lewis and I!) are really enjoying finding out about Chinese New Year this week. We will be looking at the similarities and differences between our day and a day in China in the oncoming weeks.
For now though....
Chef Freddie and his Chinese restaurant.
By the way, any ideas for why I’ve chosen the red font? If in doubt, ask a Willow!
This week we have been listening to stories about journeys, as well as making our own buildings, trails in the woods and maps of a town for BeeBot to explore
- Learning our 3d shapes along the way.
All in preparation for our exciting new mystery topic starting next week!
We have had a wonderful time in our outdoor classroom and at Forest Schools.
Our challenge has been to work as a team, by listening to each other’s ideas and helping each other.

This week we joined Beeches to explore the music and pattern of Kenya, an African country.
We listened to Kenyan music and moved our bodies to show how the music made us feel. Then we took our pens for a dance to the music.

We started our Explorers term by having a Winter exploration week.
A mystery cold lump or two appeared, snow was made and we created a winter woodland too.
