State Funeral/Bank Holiday - Monday 19th September 2022
Tue 13 Sep 2022Following the announcement from Buckingham Palace of the death of our sovereign, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a period of National Mourning has started and will continue until the end of the State Funeral. This is a period of time for reflection in response to the death of the Sovereign.
The official date of the State Funeral is Monday 19th September 2022. This day will be a bank holiday and the school will be closed as a mark of respect.

Young Voices 2022
Thu 26 May 2022Young Voices 2022 - Children from Larches and Oaks sang with 5800 children in the World Resorts Arena, Birmingham in May 2022. Click here to visit our Video Resource Centre and view some clips of this amazing day!

Book Donations
Tue 24 May 2022Thank you to the parents who have kindly made a donation to the school to enable the children to have multiple sets of books in their class. It is greatly appreciated and if you would like to do the same then please contact the school office or Mrs Arnett.

Ruardean Reading Ambassadors!
Sat 30 Apr 2022I am so delighted to introduce our first group of Ruardean Reading Ambassadors. These children were chosen by teachers and their peers to promote a love of reading at our school.
I am really looking forward to working with them this term.

From Fundraising to iPads
Thu 10 Mar 2022Thanks to the fabulous fundraising activities held over the last few months, the Friends of Ruardean school have been able to purchase EIGHT brand new iPads for students.
A huge THANK-YOU to all who took part in the events and contributed to the funds.

Friday Celebration 4th February 2022
Fri 04 Feb 2022Children who shared either their work, recognised for their attitude to learning or demonstrated kindness this week are: Harry, Ameilia, Lily, Lexie, Jess, Hetty, Connie, Kyle, Ruby, Isla and all of Beeches.
Children in Beeches retold the story of Jim and the Beanstalk! They have been using this as a stimulus for their reading and writing in Beeches this term. Please click here to watch their performance!
