School Council 2023-2024
School council meets to talk about the amazing positives we do and see at Ruardean Primary School. We discuss any issues and aim to find a solution. We have looked at what we might like to have as rewards as a school that link to our school vision and ethos.
Our School council representatives have also been involved this year in fundraising for our school. We have run a "Guess the pages in a book! " competition which saw us raise £30!
Later in the year, we recognised World Bee Day and ran a "Bee Craft" competition! We had lots of lovely entries and added more money to our fundraising total!
Finally, we ran a coin collection water relay race! Children brought in coins and we had a friendly competition between classes showing teamwork, perseverance and resilience! Oaks took 5 minutes to fill the bucket, Larches took 7 minutes and KS1 (Beeches and Willows with two Y5 helpers) took 6 minutes!
Overall this year, we have raised £80! As School Council representatives, the children will be asking their classmates what we should use our fundraising money for!
Congratulations School Council for a fantastic year!
