Dear Parents and Carers,

 

It is with great sadness that we are writing to inform you that Carol Beard passed away yesterday after losing a long battle against Covid.

 

Our hearts, thoughts and deepest sympathy go out to all her family and friends at this time.

 

Carol was at the heart of Acorns Nursery for over 20 years and was loved by everyone who worked with her or had the pleasure of her caring for their children.

 

Carol had also worked as a teaching assistant at our school and up to two years ago as a school governor. She was a loved and greatly respected member and contributor to the Ruardean community and will be sadly missed by many.
