Our Sports for Schools Fundraising Event with Paralympian Footballer Jack Rutter
The whole school really enjoyed taking part in the Sports for Schools fundraising event with Paralympian Footballer Jack Rutter on Friday 8th February.
Jack was involved in a life changing incident which left him with brain damage and forced him to retire from professional football. After years of hard work and rehabilitation, he is now a Paralympic 7-a-side footballer, coach, mentor and motivational speaker. He’s the captain of the England Cerebral Palsy Football Team who are currently doing extremely well.
During the event each student took part in an exciting fitness circuit with Jack and they enjoyed an inspirational assembly. (see pictures below).
By taking part students felt a great sense of achievement and they have all been part of a scheme that has raised funds for to support GB athletes and for new sports equipment for the school .
Well done to all!
Please return all sponsorships forms and cash collected to the school office by Friday 15th February. Many thanks in advance for your support and donations.
