Letter from Mr Manning - SIAMs Inspection Results
Tuesday, 31 October 2017
Dear Parents, Carers, Staff and Governors.
I take delight in writing this letter following our recent SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) inspection on the 4th October 2017.
We are pleased to announce that the school was awarded the grade of GOOD. This achievement exemplifies our commitment and pride in being a church school and also providing our children with the best educational opportunities possible.
I was particularly pleased to see that the school has been praised in the following areas:
-
The Headteacher, senior leaders and governing body are effective in promoting the school’s distinctive Christian character. As a result the personal development of all stakeholders is championed.
-
The school’s inclusive nature is recognised and articulated by all stakeholders, which results in high quality care given to all members of the school community.
The explicit Christian messages delivered through engaging collective worship in a variety of formats, contribute to the children's spiritual awareness.
Please take time to read the full inspection report, which can be found on our school website: Home>Key Information>SIAMS (Church Inspection)
I am delighted that the Inspector saw our school as we see it every day. In partnership with Parents, the report recognises the dedication and hard work of all our staff and governors to achieve the very best outcomes for all our children. The children, as they are every day, are a true credit to parents and the school alike.
Finally, thank you for supporting us as we continuously strive to achieve the very best we can for all the children of our school.
Yours sincerely
Mr Simon Manning
Headteacher
