IMPORTANT TEMPORARY SCHOOL CLOSURE UNTIL AT LEAST MONDAY 18th JANUARY
Sun 10 Jan 2021RE: Immediate school closure for Critical Worker children, Vulnerable and SEND children.
Dear Parents,
We have been advised by Public Health England that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the school. We know that you may find this concerning but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England. Please be reassured that for most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild illness.
The small number of children who have been in close contact with the individual who has tested
positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have received a letter informing them that their child must stay
at home for 10 days.A number of staff have also been asked to isolate so unfortunately, due to low staff numbers, we
are temporarily closing the school for all children with immediate effect until at least Monday 18th January.
Staff will continue to support remote education but please be mindful that most will be doing this from home.Thank you for your support.

IMPORTANT: SCHOOL CLOSED DUE TO NATIONAL LOCKDOWN - PLEASE READ
Mon 04 Jan 2021Dear Parents and Carers
Following on from Boris Johnson’s announcement of a new national lockdown, we are having to partially close the school with immediate effect. Please do not bring your children to school on Tuesday 5th January until further notice.
School staff will be providing Remote Education from Wednesday 6th January via Seesaw, email, or paper copies.
If both parents (or single parent if living alone) are key workers and are at work during school hours and you have no other childcare alternative, then you can bring your child into school from 9am-3.15pm on Tuesday 5th January. (Drop off and collect at the main gates of the upper school). This must however be as a last resort, as we have all been directed to remain at home where possible and minimise the risk of infection.
Please Note: School dinners will not be available, so you will need to send in a packed lunch.
Before the end of this week parents of vulnerable children or children with EHCPs will be contacted directly to assess if they need to attend school. This will allow the school time to organise staffing and provision with a view for some children to attend school from Monday 11th January.
We are hopeful that we will receive guidance about free school meal vouchers this week and will communicate with you as soon as we can.
We will update you all tomorrow with any further information once we receive it from the government.
I am so sorry for this late communication and I thank you in advance for your support.
Kind regards
Mr Manning
