Welcome to the website of Ruardean Church of England Primary School, Gloucestershire.

Here Comes Summer!

Incredibly, we have reached the Summer Term already. I have enjoyed spending the Easter break thinking about all the great things we will be doing this term and eating lots of chocolate too!

The first half of the term will see the launch of our new class garden project. I am really excited and cannot wait to hear all your ideas.

We are also going to be focussing on our science topic of Forces and Magnets. I know that you will rise to the challenge of becoming scientific investigators as you have already shown me how fantastic you are during all of our science work.

It is a short half term, with a lot to pack in, so I hope you have all had a good rest and are feeling energised and ready to jump full speed ahead back into school.

Best wishes

Our Fantastic Day Out

Just a snapshot of our fantastic trip to West Midlands Safari Park.

It was a pleasure to take such polite, well-behaved children. Thank you for making me feel so proud. smiley

Yummy Maths!

We have been learning about scaling up and down in maths. We had a problem to solve with a fruit salad recipe as we only needed enough for two people. Larches did a great job of scaling down the recipes and then making a perfect fruit salad just for two.

Perhaps you could try some more scaling up and down with recipes at home.
