Back to school already!

Here we all are at the start of the last half term of 2017. We have a lot to squeeze in before Christmas, it is going to be an exciting term.

I hope you have all had a good rest and have managed to get out and see some of the amazing autumn colours in the forest. We certainly have a lot to be thankful for, living in such a beautiful place.

I am looking forward to another great few weeks in Larches.

Best wishes,

Mrs Arnett

Our Fantastic Day Out

Just a snapshot of our fantastic trip to West Midlands Safari Park.

It was a pleasure to take such polite, well-behaved children. Thank you for making me feel so proud. smiley

Yummy Maths!

We have been learning about scaling up and down in maths. We had a problem to solve with a fruit salad recipe as we only needed enough for two people. Larches did a great job of scaling down the recipes and then making a perfect fruit salad just for two.

Perhaps you could try some more scaling up and down with recipes at home.
